Exactly the location I wanted, with exactly the living space I was looking for.
Using as many words as you'd like, how was your home buying experience with Joel?
Joel is amazing to work with. When I first reached out he was available to talk right away and made appointments to see a couple homes that very day. As a single mom, looking at homes with kids in tow can be difficult but Joel was happy to chat with them and keep them distracted while I looked at each home without feeling stressed or rushed. This is the perfect example of his personable nature that makes it so easy to work with, and trust, him. He didn’t hesitate when I asked to see a home a second time and with every step Joel was there with his own experiences and advice to support me. When it came time to make an offer on the home I’d been searching for he listened to what I needed, and encouraged me to be active in the process so I would feel comfortable. When there was a counter offer I was unhappy with, he was able to professionally and successfully negotiate to get a deal that was fair and comfortable for us all. During the entire closing process Joel let me know he was available to talk about any questions or concerns, and even when I had none he regularly checked in with me to make sure I was feeling good about the process. At the end of this process I have a home that is EXACTLY what I wanted.
What surprised you most about the home buying process?
We offered a fair price (for the home I ultimately ended up buying) and received some pushback. Joel knew how important the price point was for me, even though it may not have seemed like a lot of money to most people, and was able to negotiate fairly to the price I was comfortable paying. Also, there were unexpected issues during the financing process. Joel is so knowledgeable in this industry and we worked through it successfully without risking my earnest money.
What advice would you give to someone who was thinking about working with Joel?
Tell Joel exactly what you are looking for and be ready to get results! He is serious about getting you the home you want.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Keeping my children alive thus far. And now, providing a home for them!

My mom. Because she is the most patient woman alive.
